What a hot summer for the Szeged Fungus Association in 2025
As partners of Pangea BioBlitz, we helped to assess local Funga and introduced fungal diversity to enthusiastic youth.
On a foray to a floodplain area, we used iNaturalist to record observations and share them with participants and national park officers.
Our conservation workshop was about fungi protection. Participants requested our support for their mycology education efforts.
On Biodiversity Days, we contributed to Funga diversity assessment.
We visited Pannon Truffle plantation, where we enjoyed a busy program and wonderful hospitality.
As part of our Citizens for Fungi Diversity project, we released a Fungi Photo Guide, Fungi Sampling Guide, and added DNA barcoding and fungarium repository service.
At the Citizen Science in the Library workshop, we presented our project, goals, achievements, and plans.
FunDive booklets and PlutoF GO app were localized
A unique collection of mycology relics was exhibited.
Our traditional summer camp in the mountains was again rich with many learning opportunities.
We held classes in a daycare, a primary school, and in summer camps, providing a learning experience with fungi.
We introduced our association to a partner organization.
